I didn't get my verification email
Check spam, then use “Resend verification email” on the log-in page or the home banner. Links expire after 24 hours.
I forgot my password
Use Reset your password. The link expires after 1 hour and signs you out everywhere once used.
Who can see my posts?
Public accounts: everyone. You can make a single post “Followers only”, or protect your whole account in Privacy and safety so only approved followers see your posts.
How do I stop seeing someone?
Mute them to hide their posts and notifications without telling them. Block them to also stop them seeing or interacting with you. Both are in the “…” menu on posts and profiles.
How do I report something?
Use “Report” in the “…” menu on a post or profile. Reports are confidential. You'll be notified if action is taken on your own content and can appeal from Account notices.
How do I report copyright or a legal issue?
Use the legal and copyright request form. You don't need an account. You'll get a reference number by email.
How much moderation happens?
Our transparency report publishes totals for reports, actions, appeals and legal requests.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account and security. Your account is deactivated immediately and deleted after 30 days unless you sign in again.
